CustomVue™ is FDA-approved as a safe and effective method to correct nearsightedness and astigmatism. This exciting innovation in laser vision correction sets a new standard for visual quality and results to correct the unique imperfections in your vision. Originally developed for use in high-powered telescopes to reduce distortions when viewing distant objects in space, wavefront technology identifies and measures imperfections in the eye 25 times more precisely than standard methods.

In a clinical study, many participants were more satisfied with their quality of vision after the CustomVue™ procedure than before the procedure with the use of glasses or contact lenses.

Quality of vision refers to not only what you see, but also how well you see under a variety of conditions, such as driving at night. Four times as many participants were very satisfied with their night vision following the CustomVue™ procedure compared to their night vision using glasses or contact lenses before the procedure.

CustomVue™ wavefront-guided laser eye surgery can also be used for those who previously had conventional laser vision correction and would like to further improve the sharpness and quality of their vision.

After CustomVue™, you will notice results immediately, and your vision will continue to improve over the next few days. Typically, you will be scheduled for a follow-up visit the next day, again in about a week, and again around a month after the initial procedure.
