Blepharoplasty/Ptosis

Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery improves the appearance of the eyelids by removing excess skin, bulging fat and lax muscle from the upper or lower lids, giving the eyes a more youthful look.
 
Using local anesthesia, incisions are made where the natural crease should be in the upper lids, and below the last line in the lower lids. Following surgery, patients go home with sutures which are removed within one week. There is initial discomfort, but can be controlled with mild medication. Sensitivity to light, bruising and swelling occurs one to two weeks. We offer a full complement of camouflage makeup to use while you heal.
