Dacryocystorhinostomy
Dacryocystorhinostomy – DCR is a surgery performed to create new tear drain between the eye and nose when your current tear duct drain becomes blocked or obstructed. This procedure is done on an outpatient basis under local monitored anesthesia. Either silicone tubes or “Jones” tubes are placed into the tear duct to help reduce discomfort and restore flow.
